11th edition of Pilsen full of colours, emotions and arts!
Pilsen Busking Fest 2024 celebrates 11th edition and returns to the streets of Pilsen after a year! Look forward to one of the last summer parties, which will take place from 5th till 8th September, and believe that the program will be worth it again.
Lovers of various artistic styles, as well as ordinary residents of the city, will enjoy it thanks to the bold and at the same time very accessible festival dramaturgy.
The program will feature street musicians, bands of various genres, comedians, jugglers, circus performers, acrobats or dancers. The square will also feature artists, a graffiti wall and large-format paintings. You can also look forward to interactive creative zones and other surprises that we don’t even know about yet..
The main focus of the festival will be Náměstí Republiky, just like last year! Get ready for one zone in every corner and don’t worry, we’ll arrange the program so that it doesn’t interfere with each other. A large podium, an information stall, sales stands and creative zones designed for the direct involvement of visitors or for the creation of all kinds of artists will be built on the square. The festival will take place at the same time in the garden circle and adjacent streets at already proven locations near Muzeum, Družba and Branka. And as is usual – part of the program will be given in advance and part not 🙂
We are very happy to give space to interested parties who want to try classic busking without the sound system, organization and promotion provided by us. We have already tried the concept of so-called free zones in previous years, and this year we will set aside several places where the only thing you will have to follow is the busker code published on our website.

The festival is gradually growing, and without the help of volunteers, on whom it all depends, PBF simply wouldn’t exist. The program for our festival is creating practically all the time. It is almost ready for this year, but we are accepting applicants for next editions as well. We invite everyone who would like to apply for to write to the email busking.plzen@gmail.com. Those who do not fit into the main program will have the same opportunity as last year in the so-called free zones, where everyone can perform!
The exact program will be published about 14 days before the festival via the clashfinder application!
FREE ENTRY BUT…
We don’t want to ask you for admission without a guarantee, to build fences and barriers between artists and you. We will open the streets of joy, freedom and current art without prejudice. Support individual artists by donation to their hats or guitar cases and be clear about who you appreciate and why. For them it is the only form of the fee, they are professionals, so let them know that you want to see them and similar ones on the streets more often and support their art and job!
